H.E. Mrs. Oana Țoiu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, received H.E. Mr. Osama Yousef Alqaradawi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Romania, on the occasion of the completion of his tenure as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Romania.

H.E. the Minister expressed her appreciation for the important contribution made by the Ambassador in strengthening Qatari-Romanian relations. She also conveyed her gratitude to the State of Qatar for its efforts to promote dialogue and facilitate international mediation processes—prominent features of Qatar’s foreign policy that have long contributed to regional peace and stability. The Minister further commended Qatar’s role in the Gaza crisis, particularly its joint efforts to secure the release of hostages, including the Romanian hostages.
