About Us

  • The diplomatic relations between Qatar and Romania began on 22/10/1990
  • In 1993, Romania opened its Embassy in Doha.
  • In September 1996 the State of Qatar opened its Embassy in Bucharest.
  • The Relations between the two countries are at the level of a resident ambassador.
  • The two countries signed during the past years a number of agreements and cooperation protocols and memorandum of understanding which form the legal framework for cooperation and exchanges between the two countries in various fields.
