Embassy of the State of Qatar participated at the International Book Fair - BOOKFEST in its 17th edition which was held in the capital Bucharest, from May 29th to June 2nd.

The opening ceremony was attended by H.E. Ambassador Osama Yousef A.A. Alqaradawi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Romania, along with H.E. Mrs. Raluca Turcan, Minister of Culture in Romania.

A collection of books was presented in coordination with the Ministry of Culture of the State of Qatar in order to identify the cultural heritage of the country and the Arabic language.
