H.E. Osama bin Yousef Alqaradawi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Romania, met, during his official visit to Tulcea county, Mr. Doru Poponete, President of Tulcea Chamber of Commerce, a number of representatives of leading companies in the region and the most important businessmen. The meeting was attended by Mr. Teodorescu Horia, Chairman of the County Council, Mrs. Mirela Furtuna, Deputy in the Romanian Parliament and President of the Friendship Parliamentary Group with the State of Qatar, Mr. Mehmet Timur, Subprefect of Tulcea county, Mr. Dumitru Mirgiani, Public Administrator of Tulcea County, Mr. Iulian Nichersu, Scientific Director of the National Research Institute for the Development of the Danube Delta, and Mr.Valcu Stoian, Director of the Danube Delta Airport. During the meeting, cooperation relations between the two countries were reviewed. ‎
