H.E. President Klaus Iohannis, President of Romania, met with H.E. Ambassador Osama bin Yousef Alqaradawi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Romania, on the sidelines of the ceremony held by the President of Romania in honor of the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Romania on the occasion of the New Year at Cotroceni Presidential Palace.
On this occasion, H.E. the Ambassador conveyed to the President of Romania the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, wishing H.E. a happy new year and to the friendly people of Romania further progress and prosperity.
From his side, the President of Romania conveyed his gratitude and greetings to His Highness the Emir of the country on this occasion, as well as his wishes for the very best of health and wellness and for the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries further development and prosperity.
