FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Official Emblem revealed

The Official Emblem of the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup™ was unveiled today as FIFA and host country Qatar reached another major milestone on the road to the world’s greatest football showpiece. The official unveiling took place in Qatar’s capital, Doha, at 20:22 local time (19:22 CET), with thousands of spectators witnessing the synchronised projection of the emblem onto a number of the country’s most iconic buildings, including Burj Doha, Katara Cultural Village Amphitheatre, Ministry of Interior, Souq Waqif and Msheireb and Al Zubarah Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site....


HE met with HE Deputy Prime-Minister, Minister of Environment of Romania

His Excellency, Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Humaidi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Romania, met with HE Mrs. Gratiela Gavrilescu, Deputy Prime-Minister, Minister of Environment of Romania. During the meeting they discussed means of developing cooperation in the field of environment between the two countries.

His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Humaidi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Romania, participated in the meeting organized by Her Excellency Mrs. Rana Al-Moqadem, Ambassador of the Republic of Lebanon in Romania, President of the Group of Embassies, Delegations and Francophone Institutions (GADIF) and Mrs. Rennie Yotova, Director of the Regional Bureau for Boundary Cooperation (BRECO) of the International Organization of la Francophonie, to exchange views on the organization of events dedicated to World Francophonie Day. The meeting was also attended by a number of representatives of embassies of francophone countries and representatives of international organizations accredited in Romania.
